A good blog, to me, is not impressive. It is regular. Short posts, honest dates, and no attempt to cover everything. A blog that tries to be impressive usually stops being updated.
The blogs I return to are small. They write about food, or walking, or a town they visited, and they write about it plainly. I trust them more because they are not trying to sell me anything, not even themselves.
This site tries to follow that rule. If it ever starts trying to be impressive, that will be the sign to stop and start again, more quietly.
